TRI Resources announces an update to the PXML Developers Toolkit for php.   Version 1.2.1, released on 12/04/2008, now implements internal XML response caching. 

In the case where a page must present the same data more than once (for example, if there are two drop-down lists with printer manufacturers shown on the same page,) the data is saved from the first request so that additional requests for the data are handled internally and no new PXML requests are required.  This reduces web traffic and page load time.

Developers implementing solutions using prior versions of the Toolkit may load the new Toolkit files to gain this performance advantage without making additional changes to the web site implementations.
